Annual Meeting Update

The 72nd Annual Meeting of Meadow Gold Employee’s Credit Union took place March 20, 2008 at the Credit Union office in Salt Lake City.  Our theme this year was “You are a Star with Us.”  We chose a movie theme because it is our goal, to provide ”Red Carpet” treatment for all of our “Stars”.

The meeting began with an introduction of the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and staff which was followed by elections for 2 board positions; congratulations to Sarah Brusik and Mike Marshall who were re-elected to the board. The elections were followed by a “Year in Review” and “Upcoming Services”, which provided information about the new services and enhancements offered in 2007 as well as a look into what’s forthcoming during the next year.

The business portion of the meeting was followed with a presentation of gift bags full of great prizes for all of our “Stars” in attendance and then a dinner was served. Thank you to all who attended and participated.

RELOADABLE DEBIT CARDS

We are now offering CUMONEY Reloadable Debit Cards.  These can be used for anything a traditional debit card can be used for – purchases at all VISA locations and to withdraw cash at an ATM.

These cards can help you stay within your spending limits.  You can’t overdraw your account because you can only spend what the balance is on your card.  There is a small monthly fee for this card, but you could save yourself many dollars in NSF fees.

You will have access to your funds without having a checking account.  The Reloadable Debit Card is great for those with only a savings account or who do not qualify for a traditional debit card.

The CUMONEY Card offers all the protection and security features you’ve come to expect from VISA.  You can check your balance by calling a toll-free number or visiting the CUMONEY website.  And best of all you can add funds to your card at any time.

Contact the Credit Union for more details.
